Individual PDPM Grouper

The individual PDPM Grouper page allows users to determine HIPPS code and estimated daily reimbursement as well as future reimbursement based on a primary diagnosis code and functional scores. This Grouper differs from the Pre-Admission and Admissions PDPM Grouper in that it can be done without being tied to a specific referral or resident stay.

1. In the stand alone PDPM Grouper page, select Add to create a new Grouper.

2. On the pop-up, complete the applicable fields. Once all of the Resident Characteristics and PDPM Classifications have populated, the Day 4 reimbursement will be calculated.

3. Select Save.

 4. To download and print, select Print PDPM Details from the ellipsis of the PDPM Grouper tile.

5. Slide the Patient List to the left. Select the Length of Stay and Calculate. The HIPPS Calculations tile will display daily VBP Adjust rates.
