Calendar Indicators
Q: What do yellow boxes on the Home Calendar mean?
A: Yellow boxes indicate that a Concurrent Review is due.
Q: What do pink boxes on the Home Calendar mean?
A: Pink boxes show when an Authorization is set to expire.
Admissions Screen and Filters
Q: Why can’t I see all admitted residents in the Admissions screen?
A: The Groups dropdown may be set to "Alerts Email" or "Bookmarks". Change it to None or click Clear Filters next to the Refresh button.
Q: How do I filter to see only Managed Care residents?
A: Set the Payer Type dropdown to Current Managed Care, then click Refresh.
Resident Alerts
Q: What does the red exclamation mark next to a resident’s name mean?
A: It means there are unresolved Alerts for that resident.
Q: How do I clear the red exclamation alert?
A: Open the Alerts menu, complete the associated task, and mark the alert as Ignored or Resolved.
Therapy & Authorizations
Q: Where can I find Therapy Minutes for a resident?
A: Click the Therapy menu located to the right of the resident’s name in the Patient List.
Q: How do I enter a Level of Care, and will the alert auto-resolve?
A: From the Authorizations tile, click the three dots to open the menu. Select IVF, then Level of Care, and click Save. The alert will auto-resolve the next morning.
Starting Carve Outs?
Q: How do I start a Carve Out?
A: When a Carve Out alert appears, go to the Alerts menu, click the Carve Out Auth button, then click Add. The Carve Out will now display in the Authorizations tile.

File Management
Q: Where can I upload files for residents?
A: Go to the Files tile on the Admissions screen. Click Add, choose the file type, and upload PDF, PNG, or JPG files from your computer.
Review Dates & Contracts
Q: Where are Next Review Dates (NRDs) from PCC shown in MCM?
A: NRDs appear in the Authorizations tile under Next Review Date and are highlighted in yellow on the Home Calendar.
Q: Where can I find contract information in MCM?
A:
Option 1: In the Authorizations tile, click the blue Contract Summary button next to the IVF dropdown.
Option 2: Go to the New Reports screen and select Contract Summary from the left menu. Use filters and click Refresh to view.
Troubleshooting
Q: What should I do if MCM pages aren’t loading correctly?
A: Try clearing your web browser cache to resolve loading issues.
