Authorizations (Pre - Admission)

The Authorizations tile allows users to document authorizations obtained during the referral process.

• To enter an authorization, select the Add button. Users can track the authorization type, number, start date, stop date, and any comments.

In the example below, two Authorizations have been added.

• Initial Authorization for the stay

• Carve Out Authorization for a high cost medication - Prevnar

💡 Any authorizations entered in the Pre-Admission section will pull over into the Admission section once the resident admits to the facility.
