HIPPS Calculations

  • To determine the HIPPS code, refer to the Pre-Admission PDPM Grouper.

  • To view the HIPPS Calculations and reimbursement rate by day, select Settings and HIPPS Calculations at the top right side of the screen.

  • Enter HIPPS Code and the Length of Stay, then Calculate.

  • The VBP Adjusted Rate is displayed on the second column next to the day of stay.
