ALOS by Payer
The Average Length of Stay (ALOS) by Payer report provides a graph showing by payer (insurance) the average number of days between admittance and discharge that were covered by that insurance within a specified period of time. The chart can be exported as PDF.
Each bar in the graph can be double clicked to drill into a table showing particular stay information making up the average. This table can also be exported as PDF.
Region | Select which regions to include or All |
Facility | Select which facilities to include or All |
Time Period | Preset time periods you can choose from OR |
Date Range | Manually adjust date range. Will populate off of Time Period, but you can adjust and will drive report logic |
Payer (master) | Select “master” payer which includes linked contracts for that insurance |
Show Primary Insurance Only | Check box to only include coverage marked as primary in the Insurance tile |
Show Managed Care Only | Check box to only show patients who are in Managed Care insurance plans |
Show Managed Medicaid Only | Check box to only include coverage marked as Medicaid |
