Denials and Appeals
The Denials and Appeals reports allows users to track detailed information about resident NOMNCs, appeals, and denials. This information is populated from information placed in the NOMNC and Appeals tile. There are three Denials and Appeals reports:
Region | Select which regions to include or All |
Facility | Select which facilities to include or All |
Payer (master) | Select “master” payer which includes linked contracts for that insurance |
Time Period | Preset time periods you can choose from OR |
Denial Date Range* | Manually adjust date range. Will display residents with denials/NOMNCs issued within this date range. |
Admission Date Range* | Manually adjust date range. Will display residents with denials/NOMNCs that were admitted during this date range. |
Last Covered Day Range* | Manually adjust date range. Will display residents with denials/NOMNCs whose last covered day falls within this date range. |
Status | Admitted or Discharged |
Denial Letter Issued | Filters results based off of data entered into NOMNC and Appeals tile |
NOMNC Issued | Filters results based off of data entered into NOMNC and Appeals tile |
💡 These date range filters are applied separately to each of the reports below.
Denials and Appeals by Denial Date
Allows user to filter residents by Denial Date range.
Denials and Appeals by Admission Date
Allows users to filter residents by Admission Date range.
Denials and Appeals by Last Covered Date
Allows users to filter residents by the resident’s last covered date.
