Primary and Payer Level Details
The Primary and Payer Level Details reports provide resident’s payer information details according to coverage period for a specific date range. There are two Primary and Payer Level Details reports: Primary and Payer Level Details (selected date range) and Primary and Payer Level Details by Admission Date.
You will be able to filter to only show Managed Care Only, and to only show Active Insurance Records. Active is determined by the coverage being in effect during the date range requested.
Region | Select which regions to include or All |
Facility | Select which facilities to include or All |
Payer (master) | Select “master” payer which includes linked contracts for that insurance |
Time Period | Preset time periods you can choose from OR |
Date Range | Manually adjust date range. Will populate off of coverage period, but you can adjust and will drive report logic |
Type | Select Type of Stay or leave blank for All |
Status | Select between Admitted and Discharged or All |
Show Active Managed Care Only | Check to show All or only Current Managed Care residents. |
Show Active Insurance Records Only | Check to show all payers for residents searched, or only the current payer in effect for residents searched. |
This report populates on two different tabs: Insurance and Authorization. Both tabs display the same information, only the layout is different.
Insurance Tab
The Insurance tab displays information regarding the health plan, coverage period, and projected reimbursement first. When scrolling to the right, authorization information is displayed.
Authorizations Tab
The Authorization tab displays authorization information first. When scrolling to the right, information regarding the health plan, coverage period, and projected reimbursement is displayed.
⚠️ The Authorizations tab only shows authorizations that have an IVF assigned. If you feel there is a resident missing, check the Authorization tile to ensure the Insurance Company is assigned.
Primary and Payer Level Details By Admission Date
Primary and Payer Level Details By Admission Date report only includes residents who have been admitted within the report date range.
